Our nonprofit charity has two games that are not adult games but have been de-indexed. We had added NSFW tags to them because they were not games that would normally be acceptable to be played in a workplace or at school due to language and subject matter.

Both games teach students about consent and were produced by our org. We have been publishing our games on itch since 2018 and are concerned that our games were removed since they are clearly not adult games. We opened a support ticket last week and have received no updates.

We tend to be cautiously optimistic about many things but are still on the fence for now.

If ya make the game free; they'll re-index it while they are sorting out how to do the payment thing. Alternatively, you could self publish on your own website or go to GoG and see if they'll accept the project as they are gaining traction in fighting the mess happening now.

Or you could go back in, cut the NSFW bits in the language for a sanitized version and call it such; then when this sorts out, make a free DLC Patch putting back in what was taken out.

...Til then, just fight Collective Shout, the UK, chunks of the EU and the woman trying to become the global version of Jack Thompson on steroids as she REALLY HATES video games.
