I have the same problem! i tried reinstalling the game & putting it into different folders but nothing worked. I'm hoping this gets resolved because it seems like an amazing game.
I finally fixed it. Sorry for the delay on this, but, you know, pandemic and all... This bug is gone and game is playable all the way through again.
