This mechanic is way more fun than it sounds like it is.
It's also really obvious that you put a lot of love into this, with all the different game systems and enemy types.

My only piece of feedback is that the world is a bit too big.
I really want the satisfaction of attempting the boss; but it doesn't look like I'll get there.
If I dumped all resources into roads, I could probably make it; but then I'd definitely die in 1 hit.
If I mined everything on the map, I assume I would be strong enough; but I also assume we lose after 25 days?
So, I don't think there's time to do that.

I'm going to bookmark this one.
Let me know if you update it after the jam, because I'll want to try the new version!

There is definitely enough time, but I get it, finding the balance was the harder part and there wasn't enough time in the jam to polish it up completely. 

Part of the fun is to figure out how to get far enough and get strong enough for the boss

Oh yeah, balancing a jam game is a nightmare.
I am 100% certain that my own game is not balanced properly.
