Firstly, thanks for the detailed review! While play testing, I found that a quick response time to turns and speed was necessary to be able to react to things as the waves progressed. Granted, we didn’t have the chance to test with other people so it’s likely we just got used to the controls. It’s a bit unfortunate because that really is the core hook of the game.

Regarding dropping into the holes, the game was intended to played at somewhat a fast pace, so if you move too slowly while making a loop, it may drag you in since you get snagged on the edge (definitely a bug! Just one that we were aware of). It was hard to find a consistent way for it to punish you for deliberately falling into the hole vs these kinds of things (especially when moving fast, usual collision systems struggle to keep up). I agree that can be a bit annoying at times. I suppose what we have is just a product of the limited time as always, but I hope you still had some fun with it!
