How did you make the parry feel so damn good

Reminds me alot of gunpoint / katana 0 (and of course JJBA)

Really fun combat !! I think the platforming could use some work but it's so hard making that feel perfect in a game jam. I reckon the shooting could just be in front of you with a lil aim assist and the level design could accomodate for that. Having to aim takes you out of the action

Yes, the platform and the shooting could be improved, but we spent a lot of time on the parry to make sure it feels good. Thanks for your feedback! Glad it reminds you of Katana Zero and JJBA, those were our base inspirations!
