I'll start with the good, because there is a LOT of it:

Your game had me fully on board from the tutorial. The visuals are incredible (I stared at the main menu screen for a couple minutes lol) and the story really got me excited. Its a creative twist on the "stuck in a timeloop" idea, and the notes from your past iterations reminded me of my favorite games like Outer Wilds and Tunic. The pressure I felt going into this really had me excited to start deciphering. The line in the tutorial that said "if you know why you're here you know you should skip this message" (or something like that) especially made an impact.

I was a little dissappointed though to find I can just spam through the buttons to get the code right and I didn't actually need to do any puzzle solving.

There is definitely a good basis here for a time-loop puzzle game where it takes hundreds of iterations to get the right solution - its just missing the complex puzzle.

Thanks for the feedback, both the positive and negative! It's incredibly helpful for my first game jam submission. I'm still wracking my brain on how to prevent or mitigate the spam approach, as I discovered that possibility way late in development lol.
