Hi!

Your project immediately caught my attention with its cover and screenshots. I was really curious to know what the game is like, because it has a great design and shows the game mechanics (like the camera, etc.).

It took me a while to figure out the gameplay. At the beginning, I walked back and forth a few times and even tried to sail away on a boat (I was returned back to the bridge, and the boat sailed back).

Unfortunately, I didn't immediately understand what to do, because I couldn't pick up a stone in production. I guess it happened because my hands were busy and I grabbed all the items one by one at the beginning of the game, so maybe that caused a bug. I actually read the signs with instructions at the beginning of the game and thought I was doing something wrong, because I couldn't pick up the items.

I had to restart the game through the task manager, because there was no exit button. I went into the game again, tried to take the stones without going to the objects on the table, it worked, but nothing happened. I reread all the training signs. I pressed various buttons in the game that were available, walked around the entire location, took the stones, turned the beacon on and off, but this did not give me an understanding of how to advance the plot further.

I think this project deserves more attention and the involvement of testers to make the controls and gameplay more understandable. I am sure that this project contains an amazing game, considering the sound design, work on the art of the location and the idea.

Please consider the possibility of getting more support from the community! Perhaps creating a video walkthrough of the game could significantly help in its further development.

Hey! Thank you very much for your feedback. I don’t know if I will continue the game afer the jam, but if so, I will look into the things you mentioned and try to make the game more accessable.

For now, here is a short explaination: You only have 3 inventory slots. That’s why you couldn’t pick up the stone at first. You can’t really tell yet how many slots you have, only by scrolling and selecting items. The boat is only there to send off your disk and to return food. I just needed to stop the player from going with the boat somehow, so you just get teleported back after some time. The stones are there to bet put in the hopper of the light. If you climb up the ladder and walk around the light, you can see it. The lever is only there for making the light rotate. I probably should have made that clearer. Afer you turn on the light, you can go to the wood platform with the 2 lanterns and look around and take photos with the camera if you see something happening.

Thank you very much for the detailed walkthrough - it was very helpful! I tried to play again and was able to launch the beacon with the stones. I also managed to see the anomalies and figure out the computer at the table.
