hi from the russian-speaking community

To help with translation, I’ve been using BepInEx + XUnity.AutoTranslator — so thank you for using Unity, which makes this possible. I understand that creating a localization for you may be challenging.

I have a small request: if it's not too much trouble, could you please enable OverrideFontTextMeshPro support, so we can switch to a more compact font like Arial or Roboto. As far as I understand, this requires adding those fonts to TMP_FontAsset. The current font looks really bad with cyrillic characters — letters overflow or get cut off.

Funny thing — I didn’t like the TNLS demo at first. Quit right after the metro scene and deleted it. But then I tried Hunky City and really enjoyed it! It’s actually the first game I’ve bought without voice acting and with such simple 3D visuals — and I loved it. After that, I gave TNLS another chance and just finished the demo today. Definitely planning to buy it on steam once it’s out.

Just wanted to mention — I ran into a couple bugs while playing. In Hunky City, after the sex scene with Kai, the street scene didn’t trigger like it was supposed to (the one where you get the achievement). And in TNLS, after refusing to buy at the hotel, the dialogue in the next scene disappeared — the voice kept playing, but the text was gone and I had to make an invisible choice. In both cases, reloading a save fixed it though.

Really looking forward to the full release of TNLS, season 2 of Hunky City, and more of your gay games on steam!

Thanks for the awesome work you’re doing ❤️

I think we will try to support Russian directly, so you don't need to use the translate plugin, which might cause some bugs, and we don't know why. :)

On one hand, it would be cool, but honestly I’m already pretty comfortable with how it works. I see the English text first, and then it auto‑translates a later — kind of a fun way to practice my English, and if I don’t understand something, the translation pops up anyway)

I think your time is better spent on things that really matter — gameplay, voice acting, interactivity, visuals, and so on. I don’t think your russian audience is that big (though I genuinely wish it was). And you probably know we’ve got a lot less freedom with stuff like this over here…

But the plugin might cause the game to crash someday. Better translate in-game. I will think about it carefully. I know the Russian audience is small, but that's totally fine by me, ;)
As long as you can get it on Steam. (I thought you couldn't,  that's why I didn't do Russian language support

Well, Russian is still in Steam’s top three languages, so it’d be kinda weird if we couldn’t buy games at all :)
Almost all big titles come out with Russian language support, like the recent Expedition 33 :)

Hunky City is actually cheaper in the RU and KZ (regional pricing is enabled).

I mean Russia Bara Games, not mainstream games. :p

What’s the difference?)

Region locks are set by the publisher, same as regional pricing. For example, in the RU region DAV and other EA games are unavailable, but they’re open in KZ, TR — and switching regions is pretty easy ;)

Here’s what the page looks like on our side — I turned on translation for your convenience. For most players, the game doesn’t show up in recommendations because of the language filter, but it’s still purchasable. There’s also the adult filter, which is why (as I understand it) you plan to make TNLS 16+ and DLS 18+

Cool! Thanks for sharing! ;)
