thoughts:

1. I really enjoyed this game! I had high hopes from lltq, and this blew it out of the park! I especially liked the open world bit. this is my opinions after 2 full playthroughs so I might just be missing something instead of it being a problem

2 I second the previous suggestion that it would be nice for the mood page to give an indicator of which stats they're best at to prevent having to switch tabs. this wasn't a problem on my second playthrough because i kinda had them memorized at that point, but when I was at the beginning of my first playthrough it was a little irritating

3 i love how you can pick your pet to have different moods based on what type of character you're planning as playing as, and how it makes only having two mood selections slightly easier to deal with

4 i was a little disappointed that there wasn't flavor text for the different skill levels for lltq since i really liked how that would slowly reveal more the novan world's history and culture and stuff, but the idea of codexes are cool and makes up for that! It would be fun if you got more codexes with high imperial history and stuff but no pressure! Kinda related to that- I liked the little callback to lltq when Zorana was investigating the novans, it was fun how all the different legends could represent all the different paths you could take through the game.

5 trying to ask with out spoiling things for other people- after the events in turn 22, is there a way to get it without waiting until after you turned empress or is that option just not showing because of my intrigue stats being medium levels and not high? Or is that option related to another hidden plotline or something I haven't discovered yet?

6 i forgot to take a screenshot of this and i haven't been able to replicate it so I'm just resorting to describing as much as i can, but after completing the piloting challenge from the star admiral where i was only able to graze the target and bail out with contortion/body control it gave me dialogue that amounted to him not backing me but not being necessarily opposed to me either, then I got one of those error messages "an exception has occurred" that wouldn't let me rollback, I have a lot of save games so i couldn't figure out which one was from that playthrough so idk how much help this would be i think it was during turn 19 in deep space if that helps

7. I presumed to start a plotline where you try to figure out what happened to the emperor (before the epilogue) you have to have high science and intrigue then you'd be able to start investigating inside the palace, but I didn't see that pop up as an option. Is there something I'm missing?

Thank you so much for having a beta option for this game, I was really excited to play it early! Overall 5/5 stars, I had a lot of fun!

5 + 7 - You're onto something here. That's all I can say right now. (Some other people are investigating, I don't know if you guys want to make a separate splot spoiler thread all rot13'd where you try to work on these angles....)
