Hi, I bought the game on steam and played if for thousands of hours but my windows laptop broke, is there any way your thinking of adding the Mac version to steam? At all?

Unfortunately not at this time. There is a Mac version available here on itch, however, and if you have any DLCs, you can actually extract them directly from the Steam version and put them in the itch version, and they'll still work! Sorry to hear about your laptop, and thank you so much for playing.

How do you extract the dlc from steam to put it on itch on mac?

If you can get access to your Steam version of the game, you can find the DLC files in the "game" folder (you can access the game's full folder by right clicking on it in Steam and going to "Manage" > "Browse Local Files"). The DLCs are files with .rpa at the end. You can send those to yourself via email, or Discord, or something like that. Then, simply put those files into the "game" folder on the Mac version, and that should work! If you need more help, just let me know.

I wasn't able to find the "Browse Local Files" when I looked through the manage tab, is there maybe an updated version or another way to get to the browse local files? I accidentally bought the extension on steam not knowing the mac version doesn't work on it...

Do you mean you bought the DLCs on Steam, but you're playing on a Mac? Unfortunately, the Steam version is not compatible with Mac, so that might be reason you aren't seeing "Browse Local Files".
