A perfect work. Even though English is not my native language, I still enjoyed and completed Leo's route. Ever since I started playing Monster Hunter Rise, I have been searching for works like this, and I was fortunate to discover this treasure. I hope the author team can lead a happy life and be able to complete this best work. (My English is poor, so I apologize if my expression is inappropriate.)

I am unsure whether the author is considering updating the character routes one by one (which could have both advantages and disadvantages), for instance, completing one character before proceeding to another.

To answer your question, the devs stated that in each update, they will advance all characters' routes at once. This means it will take much more time to release an update, but all changes will be available once the update goes live.

They cannot do one-by-one route updates, as I'm quite sure that the tighter schedules that come from that would likely stress them out unnecessarily.

Thanks ShroudedLion for this context! You are correct, we want to release updates all at once.

And this is also because we want everyone's dateable to be visible every update. Imagine us updating your fave character, then waiting for 5 more updates before your fave character gets his update. It would be torture. So for fairness, we always do it like that. It basically comes from experience when I play ongoing VNs, I only like 1 character, but then I have to wait several months for when they get an update.

Though that does sacrifice time, like each update will take longer (especially this one due to both art, writing, and holy crap real life not giving me time to breathe), there is sufficient enough content to enjoy for every dateable. Also the game will have a rehaul after 1.0 with new UIs, new events on days, and additional dialogue. (Mostly fixing grammar stuff and programming stuff)
