So, there doesn't seem to be any way to actively repair the hull of the ship that I could find, and the scrap collecting drones don't actually remove the scrap from your path, so you spend the entire time nearly dead. I think the blue bar on the ship was supposed to be my fuel, but nothing ever informed me, and I had no idea how to tell if I was good on fuel or not, so that felt a bit nerve-wracking. The bones of it seem decent, but the ability to actually maintain your ship being nearly zero made the experience focused far more on that than any of the exploration or interactions.

Hello, TrashCan1991!

First of all, thank you so much for your detailed feedback — it's incredibly valuable for shaping the future of Captain Nobody.

Hull Repair:
You're right — at this stage, hull damage isn't truly punishing (yet). When it reaches zero, nothing critical happens — we're still defining how durability and damage will evolve as gameplay elements.
That said, there is a way to repair the hull: every 5 minutes, a temporary skill appears called "EMERGENCY HULL PATCHER", which requires crafting 10 Mechanical Parts (made from 2 Titanium Dust + 5 Ironite). When activated, it partially restores hull integrity.
Fuel Bar (Blue Bar):
Good observation! Currently, the only way to confirm that it represents fuel is by hovering over the bar and reading the tooltip. We agree this isn't ideal, and we're planning a clearer visual indicator or label soon to avoid confusion.
Drones & Scrap:
Yes, drones collect scrap for crafting purposes, but they don’t currently clear the path — something we're reviewing. We understand how this impacts survivability and player flow.
Force Field Skill:
We’re already working on new mechanics to address these pain points — one is a temporary force field that activates during planet exploration (if the ship has enough energy). It deactivates when the player starts collecting scrap. Here's a quick video showing progress:

Thanks again for playing and taking the time to help us improve. We're building this project step by step, and feedback like yours really makes a difference.

Well, I'll be damned. There are so few times that I leave feedback where the developer is already aware of what feedback might be coming in that I didn't expect such a robust response. That's absolutely awesome, and I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the development to see what y'all cook up.

Hey, thanks again!

It means a lot to us that you're sticking around. We're a small team (well, actually solo!), so every bit of feedback helps shape the game.

Feel free to drop by anytime with more impressions or suggestions — we’re cooking up some crazy stuff ahead. 😄

Cheers!
