I like the artstyle of Antonia, the gameplay is otherwise fairly standard and maybe on the weaker end. Just because the stripping is a one-sided affair, instead of being a thing both players are engaged in.
I would think that would be fair. If adding a player sprite is too much extra work, you could simply keep a clothing count for the player and some kind of reaction from whomever you play against about the player pawning clothing for more tokens.
It seems more reasonable then running out of tokens just being a 'start over' kind of situation, and seems more fair for it being, well, strip poker.
That’s a fair point. I was thinking of reworking the strip mechanic to make it a payout multiplier.
I was thinking of making special ante cards that could be activated by bidding. If you win you get bonus tokens, if you lose you activate the secondary, which could be lose clothing or a transformation.
Would be happy to hear your thoughts on that.
Hmm, it's different and potentially interesting. I think it's one of those things I'd have to see in action to really get a feel for though.
It could certainly work as a special type of match at least, as you are planning for multiple game types and such though.
Though I feel transformation gimmick does kind of need a player sprite of some sort, as otherwise its all purely textual. Which could work I suppose, but I imagine a part of the appeal for TF is actually 'seeing' the process happen.
I think it would be ideal, as I don't think anything in this game suggests the player could be only male or only female, so having both is best.
If I had to pick one or the other, I'd maybe lean to male, just due to that being more of the standard/default in these kind of games over being only a female player.
