I loved the game! I really liked the graphics, music, and overall style! I think the movement physics in the water can bug out a bit in some parts, and I found a trick where if you hold the "D" key and the right arrow key at the same time, the player moves without gravity. I loved how you made the menu, the overall game design, and the cutscenes/dialogues. I’d love to see the game developed further!

thanks for trying the game 😄! thanks for your nice feedback on the game’s style, it means a lot :). again, i have no idea what causes the Arrow Keys to make you lose gravity, as they’re even binded together with the WASD keys in Unity’s Input System, meaning that they should do exactly the same, but they do not.

(EDIT: while writing this, a thought came up to me and i found where the bug is probably caused. no wonder i didn’t know where the bug came from, because it was from the asset i used for making the water. turns out it was an additional character controller for a demo of the asset, but the water script required it on gameobjects for some reason, and i just included it on the player without knowing what it did. oops! gonna be more careful next time!)

sadly, i don’t really plan on continuing the game, at least not anytime soon. but it’s true that the game’s scope have been reduced significantly. maybe a remake of the game with all of its intented scope (and actual time to make it) might not be a bad idea! good luck on the jam!
