Excellently designed puzzles, but a very hard game for expert puzzlers.

I hit a wall at (not getting) 22/23 and solved 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, 33, and 34, made attempts at 27, 28, 29, 32, 35 but I kind of hit my willingness to plan moves ahead limit.

The self destruct mechanic was not expected in 30

you did very well to get that far! there's a definitely a lot of "exploration" involved in the solutions -- i don't think many players can visualize all the steps upon first seeing a puzzle; takes some trial and error to formulate a plan.

i do know of multiple players who wrote down notes to solve the final level; could help if you're having trouble keeping track of the state space (but first you have to make sure you understand the mechanics fully).

☑️︎ I STEPPED ON THE END LEVEL TWICE BY MISTAKE AND COULDN’T UNDO SO I HAD TO START OVER TWICE. BUT MY LABOR IS FINISHED. ☑️︎

These puzzles were so hard. This was a labor of love and frustration and love. You must have spent forever inventing all the mechanics. What a journey.

I figured out the win condition for the game in level 30, because I had already tried couple of the 40s.

Some slight spoilers so govern yourself accordingly.

24 Copy a copy. Wish I remembered this when I was doing 49.

27 Much Love. to me, the peak of the duplication mechanic.

28 Uncover - Honestly harder than 48. I was mostly through the 40s before I got it. Might be the hardest level in the game for where it is, IMHO.

29 Gate. Needed help with initial movement up and down. I only had to see it once, then I could finish from there.

32 Tumbler. I refused to use my brain. I suffered. Then I tried adding numbers.

35 Cycles. I knew what to do from the start, but the trick was figuring out that I had to get rid of one before setting up, depending on my clockwise direction. That took two days and a hint - got the hint after commenting the first time.

36 Useless. Getting to destroy our companion cubes after trying to hard to spare them was satisfying.

37 Nested. You deserve applause for the forced set up of this one. Very elegant.

38 Snapshot. I was so unlucky. I tried every wrong solution first. Took me a day.

39 Rescue. Avoided it out of fear, but its sibling, Cycles, had taught me what I needed so it went pretty smoothly. I did scribble notes for this one, which were completely wrong!

43 Part Lives. I have no clue what I did or why it worked. This level was a fever dream.

44 Expedition. Was rough. Took me longer than heart attack though.

45 Organizer. Don’t remember this one. Took me longer than heart attack though.

47 Minutae. I lucked into the solution. I couldn’t repeat it - I (am still) walled on a level I beat, which is the definition of did not deserve the win.

48 Workspace. You were just being nice before destroying our souls with 49 and 50.

49 Unusable. I walled hard for several days because I forgot about the one thing.

50 Heart Attack. I also lucked into figuring out how to push one heart because I happened to set up right on my third try with the up down config, so I was able to iterate into that.

Return to level █: I figured out in 47 that you can remotely do ‘the thing’. I thought that was the win condition, but I decided to see what would happen first if I did ‘the thing’ the regular way first. Can you remotely ‘thing’?

Levels I will remember.

9-Roundabout, 12-Contextual, 14-Gearbox, 18-Backup, 20-Errata, 22-Tiptoe, 24-Copy a copy, 26-In Series, 27-Much Love, 30-Teapot, 35-Cycles, 38-Snapshot, Organizer and Expedition and Unusable will blend together as an amalgam nightmare.

this post makes me extremely happy :) glad you stuck through it!!

for the ending -- iirc you can't remotely "thing" in that level but it's been long enough since i made the game that i don't remember how well i explored the state space to confirm that.

You CAN remote the thing!

Comment now redacted because it was fairly spoilery, but ask if you want help
