WAAA I have so many thoughts about this game!!! Upon opening it up, I was immediately blown away by how GORGEOUS everything looked. Amazing art, gorgeous UI, so much attention to detail and everything was just so harmonious from a visual standpoint it scratched my brain in the best way 🤩

Our husband’s character design is chef’s kiss, and the art is so, so gorgeous (you guys made him so beautiful I totally fell for it and tried to kiss him immediately 😂😂). I also loved seeing all of his expressions and the surprisingly reactive sides to him heheh. And gosh the animations were so clean and really added to the immersion, I was ooh-ing and ahh-ing the entire time😂

From a game-design perspective, this was super impressive given the jam constraints. The poison mechanics were innovative, the story branching was structured so cleanly, and I especially liked how for some endings you could go about it multiple ways, being able to incorporate player agency in a short VN like this is again, so impressive. I also enjoyed reading the devlog and getting a glimpse into the process.

You really utilized everything at your disposal to create such a fun and cohesive player experience! Congrats to the team on the release and an amazing job!!❤️❤️

Thank you so much for playing and battling through the endings and the devlog!

You'll see in next week's devlog how the character designer artist really went out of their way to design everything meticulously even if it sometimes ended up barely visible in the finished sprite... Definitely a lot of interesting design tidbits to say about it!

Hahaha his face is really deceptive, bringing so many unsuspecting players to their downfall with just one kiss! I've seen some also really like to give him fish on repeat each run for some reason, even though they're sabotaging themselves unknowingly 😂

We were also like this when coding his expressions in, except when it sometimes turned into a horror movie when debugging and his arm flew around or his eyes blinked into the void of space 😂

Thank you, everyone in the team was awesome! We were really glad to have worked on this while having so much fun at the same time!
