Yeah... Itch decided to cave in to their demands so they're just as guilty in my book, personally I will never buy from Itch again and I seriously hope this hurts them financially

since Steam is also caving to their demands, so you will stop buying from Steam (or at least tell others to stop?)

i havent noticed anything different on steam when i scroll down the store. It still pops up in the new and upcoming sections like it always has. thought it was kinda wierd actually

(+3)

Yeah, that's weird, i went to steam shop just now and i have plenty of NSFW contents and none in my wishlist has been banned or blacklisted or shadowbanned or whatever.

Actually, when i'm typing those words, steam is less censored than Itch 😅😅

Pretty sure it won't last but it's like a disturbance in the Force 😂😂

They will die. A censored Itch has no point.

Maybe when Collective Shout will come after your game you'll understand.

lol Tumblr artists were also very smug at first ^^

When Itch won't promote or even sell your game, your free promo will be really useful indeed.

But yeah, as long you're not impacted, censorship is ok, noted.

Yeah, yeah, they don't have a choice, they only followed the orders, it's inevitable, yadi yada...

Censorship and religious cults are pushing since the dawn of humanity, don't see how it make Itch actions legit ^^

So cults pushing for censorship are evil but platforms enforcing it are innocent, ok ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Itch caved because it was either cave or the site dies.

Point your anger at the puritanical cults and the billionaires that are in them.

Well the site is going to die anyway. What a stupid mentality. Hey either the guy is going to shoot you, or your shoot yourself, what a choice eh? Braindead.

Why are you focusing your anger at the victim of the cult instead of the cult itself?

Why not towards the payment processors? Just because they gave in to a loud activist group instead of just ignoring them like they ignore the rest of stuff processed with their services?

Why did they react to them and not to other? Seems like the companies are atleast somewhat "in agreement" what the activists demanded and thus enforce the policies.

Because lets be real, even if the activists reach a bit more publicity, I doubt anyone would really force the processors to do something about it, since everyone depends on their services, so most would simply ignore it.
