We agree with you, analyzing the comments made us realize, the ultimate goal, flying up into the sky, is not directly or indirectly incentivized or hinted at through means of the game. For a next jam, we will make sure we don't miss on this point again, thanks for the valuable information.

Concerning the mouse cursor, we wanted to have visual or audio queues for different mechanics in the game. The mouse cursor was meant to indicate an "action"-input is available at your current stage. This is during the egg stage and during the last stage of flying. Our Idea of hiding it during the fall, glide, flapping and flying phase was to make sure players know they should concentrate on the wsad / arrow-keys.
