Game Description
It's a platformer where a little alien goes exploring and eating shrooms
How does your game tie into the theme?
We couldn't add an eating animation, but the general concept was that the alien was eating shrooms that they find

I liked the sprite animations and the controls were nice, good job on the entry!
You nailed the platforming really well, I find wall jumping can be really hit and miss but you did a great job.
It would be nice if there was more to it but you have a good foundation, I also like the cool little sprite for the alien, slippery boy that he is.
I love the music! The art is simple but on point too! The controls are responsive as they should in a platformer. Good job on that! The multiple doors gave me a metroidvania vibe which i really like. Maybe you should think about adding a mini map to help people keep track of the rooms. The wall jump is really fun too, I like that you embraced it on the level design.
I would prefer less sliding on the surfaces because it was pretty hard to stay on small edges. Also, the change of mid-air direction got a bit frustrating while exploring the rooms. It helps when you wall jumping continuously but it gets confusing when you try to land on a specific area.
Overall, it's a great submission. Keep working on it!
The player controller felt really solid, and I particularly loved the wall jumping. Graphics for the player was beautiful. Although, I do wish there was a little more variety in the backgrounds, and perhaps some kind of counter to show how many shrooms were left to collect. Overall, had some fun with this one.
The music is great and the player character is quite cute. The movement does seem a bit off and is difficult to control at times.
Cool game! I really like the sound design! The movement feels a bit floaty, but you get used to it quickly. But where are the backgrounds?
Loved the music and the art style. On the other hand, I'm not a big fan of the ''icy'' movement of the protagonist and the placement of the doors (it might be intentional, but some door warps are very weird). I think that this has great potential of becoming a very good metroidvania. In addition, as a music composer, I must say that the main theme is a certified banger! Have you considered adding SFX to the gameplay?
Good job!!!!!
it felt a bit empty, there could have been some more gameplay elements, but the design is really good!
Cute design but wish there was more to do. :)
I wish there was a little more to do, but the design is cute, and the movement is nice!
