Through our Patreon or Subscribestar, these are where you can get access to the latest version of Uni the moment it releases and also where the majority of our development budget is determined.
Unfortunately, in the event that Uni is taken down there is no way for us to honor the $25 early access version we offer here.
Not to really say anything but for the people who did pay i feel that it could be honored by us showing the receipt maybe via discord or patreon or even subscribestar (dming you guys) and being given the new versions since its very unfair that we still paid for basically EA on itch just to go to pay for it monthly on subscribestar or patreon just a suggestion since I personally feel its a tad bit scammy to still charge people whom paid for it here TwT
I agree that it's extremely unfair, I understand that your suggestion means well and is coming from very valid frustration. However, if we were to verify every receipt via DMs on discord and Patreon we would need to verify nearly 500K receipts every 2 months (To prevent fraud) potentially for the next 5 years.
The best way to go about this would be for us to set up a customer service team using our support email to verify each receipt, which would put further strain on our resources and development in our already strained state.
Reasonably, let's hope that Uni does not get taken down now that it has been delisted.
i suppose all we can do is hope but it is a bit sad that their is no reassurance to the people who have paid, especially for an indie dev, which is a bit upsetting since this game wasn't cheap lol but hopefully all it does is just get hidden from being searched and not banned so my fingers are crossed
