By items, what do you mean? Time travel devices or something else? The only 'mechanized' items are Your Coin and the 7 Devices. Any other items that you create throughout play are purely narrative.
The Major Arcana would be used like minor arcana in terms of traveling forward or backwards in time. You would travel the number of days associated with the number of that Major Arcana. For example, if The Emperor is the righthand card of your spread and you choose that card, you would travel 4 days into the future.
