The parrying needed a better explanation. I feel it's a lot easier than the game makes it out to be. I forgot about a healing mechanic, and lazily added a mechanic whereby you heal a bit after dealing damage; though I didn't do anything to really communicate (especially in the heat of battle) that you have received any HP.
I'm glad you liked the atmosphere. The final boss was definitely hard; I think I just need to have others playtest the game more (and sooner).
