Really impressive that you've created all this in such a short time. Your idea behind the game itself is great too, I really like the idea. Unfortunately I couldn't finish the game because I couldn't explore the last tile(forest) for some reason. Also, with so many platformer elements, I think movement should be a little snappier, like when you change running direction, immediately change it and don't wait until the other direction's velocity has run out (this is kinda what it felt like) before you actually start running in the other direction. Could just be personal preference though, I'm not sure. 

And I didn't really die when I ran out of HP? And I could spam bombs on end, even though my counter was 0.

Very cool idea, very impressive what you've created solo within 1 week (UI, Art, Animations, Pickup/Craft logic, music and so on). Unfortunate I encountered so many issues :(

Oh and that super mario backflip-jump is fire! Took me a while to realize this exists, but then had a lot of fun with it :D
