Let's trade feedback! I submitted a project too.

  • UI 5 Stars - great use of the industrial assets for the buttons, screens & overlays.
  • Theme 5 stars - This is out of the box combining of the fishes pack and industry packs. Real-world fishing relevancy so players get it right away so easily.
  • Polish  5 stars - gameplay loop is clean, clear and straightforward. The gameplay loop is reinforced well with language like Start Shift, End of Shift, Workday and Investment capital, like you're running a pro fishery.
  • Mechanicals - The more fishes you get, they pool and collect at the top of the water; it's a good way to see how good you've done. When your buzzer recharges there's visual lights and audio cues. I'd still add a bar that fills since it recharges like Stamina, which players are most familiar with.

Ideas for expansion:

  1. The fish have no major ramp-ups in speed, size, quality, points you can get or colors.
  2. I don't feel victorious when capturing 4 fishes, because it's only +1's or +2's. I'd love the choice to ignore a trio of fishes so I can go after the fast-swimming Goldfish that's twice the size of the others, to get 10+ points. Moments of Rarity like that are missing.
  3. Increase the of speed of certain fish and their on-screen size. It need be more apparent that you've progressed environmentally, not just in what you've purchased.
  4. You could add different levels and even a variety of cranes, similar to Love in a Dangerous Spacetime. Even a local coop where there's two chains controlled by separate keys on diff sides of the crane.

Thanks for all the feedback & ideas :)
