In a shellnut: The cartel of Payment Processors are on a warpath at the behest of a shady "activist" organization against adult content. This website became the next one to bend the knee just hours ago.

What this means is that your game is effectively shadowbanned on here through no fault of your own and despite offering the game for free. The only people that will be visiting this page are those who already have a link somehow. Like by having followed your account or added this game to their Library page, ect.

I'm sorry dude. I don't think I could form a sentence that would appropriately describe how cosmic the level of bs is on this (At least not without getting into trouble).  This slope got slippery reaaaaaaal fast!

Oh, that really sucks.

ya that's the big problem these days. One option would be go to like Discord and create the game Developers group, where you could tell all the info of the updates and then use like torrent downloader or similar system to share and players cold discus on the way how to support you in another ways of payment

Game is still googleable for a while, but I would suggest setting up an external website linking to the itch page.

They aren't removing the game, they are just delisting it while they bend over and lube up.

That does, of course, mean that you are getting Bubba's help in performing the same maneuver, but at least the game is still up.

The group is the Australian far-right mom one. I forget their name. Is the current shadowban region-locked? I seem to be able to google search "itch.io harem hotel" on multiple browsers, when logged out of google

Mainly, itch.io deleted the category NSFW. They don't appear to have delisted anything, just made it much harder to search for.
