Super clean game! Honestly finished the first level expecting that'd be it but was really pleasently surprised to see you had new enemies and bosses waiting after it! I guess the one weakpoint would be that I wasn't sure if I was loosing progress when dying since I spawned without upgrades but they grew back a few seconds after and it sometimes felt like some of the upgrades didn't do that much visually, but apart from that really solid entry, great job!

You got some very fair points! We had ideas for all the upgrades visually but ended up vaulting some, thats why e.g. Flagellum doesn't have a sprite (it looked goofy)

Also you really shouldn't be losing progress when dying, but due to a bug the quickest fix was to delay data recovery, thats why you are gaining abilities over time (not ideal but does the job for this jam)
