Great job finishing your first game! I think the platforming in this is pretty smooth, but the combat is missing a lot of juice that could give feedback to the player on what's happening. I'm also not a fan of the constant health drain, that feels like it's artifically inflating the difficulty in a game where after one mistake you're forced to start over from the beginning. But for a first entry, this is great work!
