I really love the pixel art and your animations look really nice and fluid.
The level design could be improved as I was getting lost a lot since although nice everything kind of looks the same. Some variations in the platform tiles or doodads dotted about could help serve as landmarks to better help the player navigate around the level.
Excellent effort for your first jam game though, congrats!
