LMAOOO this was my first run, I climbed up and I couldn't get an ending, so I remember there was a ledge somewhere, and just did it haha
Oh, you didn’t get an ending after climbing back up? Did you reach and go through the cave area at the bottom of the tree and got the scene telling to you return?
If so, I will need to look into that to fix it as well-
