Does the sound effect mean I successfully inputted, or something else? Having trouble with it on the second round of tasks

If it disappears from the task list and it gives you the distinct success sound, yes, you successfully inputted it. If you get the error sound and the task list does not update, you misinputted something and the input history got cleared to allow you to try again.
