Hi! I really liked the narrative of the game, it was really short and simple but I think it was effective at conveying your point and raising awareness, especially with how you made making a difference in your community make a gameplay difference. I think you have a strong foundation with the mechanics, and I'd personally just like to see you add more to it (I was basically on autopilot after the first minute of the game, and the game only gets easier with the introduction of more shade, so shifting parts of the map or other things that would require me to actively pay attention would be great).

P.S. The booties were awesome

Hello! I'm a big card game guy, and I liked this game quite a bit! I'll admit that it was a bit confusing at first, and I'm unsure how balanced everything is (most of my success was just from spamming Food Pantry due to how much VP it generates and with the right setup you can very consistently draw your entire deck very easily, if I had something like Community Support or Crowdfunding this run would've been over even quicker), but I definitely had fun! Better player UI sounds like a great thing to work towards (if you see in the screenshot below the formatting gets a bit messed up in full screen for me), I'm excited to see it!

Additional Notes: I like the disaster-specific "counter" buildings I think I'd just like to see them be more accessible (or just make getting more cards more generally accessible outside of a gold-heavy build, but start off with less cards in the starter deck or something.) The extra cards are a really cool part of the game, but there's a good chance that a player only sees the 3 cards from the 3 starting packs they can initially buy. Ways to mitigate rng when it comes to seeing what cards you get (ex: adding a reroll functionality that costs a scaling amount of gold) would also be nice in my opinion.

If it disappears from the task list and it gives you the distinct success sound, yes, you successfully inputted it. If you get the error sound and the task list does not update, you misinputted something and the input history got cleared to allow you to try again.

I'll include the sound effects in this post so you know which is which

Thank you so much! "Interface with the main computer" is the numpad-looking task in the room with the BIG monitor. It's a simple simon says puzzle where you have to hit the buttons according to the pattern they glow in (with the pattern repeating every X seconds).

Movement is crazy fun, awesome short experience!

Potato Thriller is an instant modern-day classic. I can honestly say, without a doubt, this is a masterpiece even among games of the highest caliber. This game has the best writing that I have ever seen in a game. It is so emotionally compelling and beautiful, yet still keeps a comedic tone. In fact, the writing was so good, that sometimes I forgot that the characters weren't real. The combat was incredibly fleshed-out and fluid, and the enemies were diverse and well designed. Potato Thriller also has the best overall video game soundtrack that I've ever heard, which really immerses you in the game. Additionally, the graphics are phenomenal and groundbreaking in the genre. I don't even have to say anything to prove this point, just look at the game.

Overall, Potato Thriller is a solid 10/10, and well-worth the purchase.
