A really good take on the theme, felt super unique and was also very charming! The art reminded me of old flash games I used to play and love, got major nostalgia from that! Good submission :)
I miss them too but don't put yourself down too much! I genuinely think your art had a lot of personality and charm to it, you applied it well to the overall vibe you want and that to me is good enough to say it isn't worthy of being called mediocre :)
