Really cool game, very impressive for your first game jam! How much experience do you guys have in Unreal Engine in general? Mind if I ask how your animation and collision works? Is that procedural animation on your player? I've never had my skeletal meshes respond that well to the environment, I'm really interested in this :D

Definitely well done, the physics are fun, dive mechanic is super fun, and the increasing difficulty really hits the spot. I'm impressed :D

Hi! thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game! my teammates and I all have a little experience in unreal, we've all been using it for about a year. Honestly it was our first time trying to make that sort of 'active ragdoll' system similar to games like gang beasts, and it is far from perfect. We used a physical animation component, which lets you set ragdoll physics for certain parts of the skeleton. we also had to mess around with the collision settings since having collision enabled on both the capsule component and the skeletal mesh caused some objects to just get pushed through the floor when stood on for whatever reason haha.

thanks again for the positive feedback, it's super reassuring to hear that people enjoy our game, especially since this is our first jam!
