I think I missed something. The screenshots show more content, but the home button doesn’t let me do anything but pick the first. Maybe I didn’t get far enough? Like you said some QoL improvements would help a lot. Tracking progress would be one that could help show you you were close to unlocking something. The core snake game is well implemented though.
