I like the overall game concept. The UI and the tutorials are really nicely made from a user experience standpoint.
I don't like saying it but the gameplay ranges from mediocre to annoying. The controls feel sluggish, and the barely visible rain and bodyblocking enemies made me quit before I could finish the game.
The visuals are really impressive though. I really like the game's atmosphere.
When I was at the level with the second enemy, it was between me and the goal. It clung to me like a tick and at that moment I really wished the character could jump higher and move faster.
Because of the low vision range I didn't even know it was there so my defeat didn't feel deserved and instead of dying immediately I got my light drained while I felt like I could do nothing about it.
In hindsight the controls aren't that bad, the character is just slow compared to the platformers I'm used to. I probably wouldn't even have mentioned them, were the enemy less annoying.
