Actually an insane game. Love the parallax layers, the art is top notch. Everything about this game is great! Amazing job!

Dang, this game was made super well! Love the music too!

Pretty neat game! And your game description and instructions was insanely well setup?!

Hey, glad you enjoyed! After the jam, we are going to rework a lot of things, including the checkpoints. And yeah, the first was just one part of the just get started aspect of our game, but so was the ending scene, which i hope you got to see.

We are going to fix many issues after the jam! There will be 2 difficulties too. One brighter and easier, one harder and darker. We are going to keep the camera far out, but we are going to make the levels more puzzle-y, like how it was originally supposed to be, and you'll need to see the whole level to figure the puzzles out. Thanks for playing, hope you enjoyed!

Thank you so much! We decided thay we are going to remove shade collision and do some more work on levels to make the game really feel like a puzzle game. Right now it definitely Italy feels more like an obstacle course.

This game is really cool! I really like the artwork and the music fit extremely well! This is a really great quality game overall. It was very unique and very fun to play.

Hey, no worries! I completely understand where you're coming from; that frustration is absolutely called for based on the circumstances. Regardless, I'm glad you tried out the game and hope you'd be willing to give it another try sometime!

Great game! Was really fun, immediately got hooked. Could use a bit of polish, but overall a well made game!

Good artwork and seems like it could be fun, just couldn't exactly figure out what to do.

Very interesting game. It's very fun to just sling around. My game did glitch when I partially went to the first room to the right but bounced back into the other room. Camera got stuck in right room.

Could use a bit of work. Game was a bit finicky. Wasn't too sure on what the goal of the game was. Seems like it could be a fun game, but needs a bit of work.

Missing pck file. Can't play

Tried playing, but sadly couldn't get past loading.

This seems like it could be something fun! It seems like I was only able to get so far, though. But what you have is fairly entertaining!

Sadly, I was unable to do more than just look around.

Sure! If you haven't already, would you check out mine and give me a review/rating!

Thanks. Im glad you enjoyed!

Sorta kinda felt like a weird version of subway surfer, just with turns. Not too sure how I felt about it.

Definitely could use a bit of explanation. Interesting game. Needs a bit of polish.

Interesting game. Pretty cool art style and animations!

Interesting concept, too bad more wasn't able to be made. Would have love to see more of a complete concept with this.

This is actually really fun! It both looks and feels really good and the gameplay is quite enjoyable as well. Though, I will say that the text wasn't the easiest to read a lot of times.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

Hey, glad you enjoyed it! The goal with the Shade was actually to trap and/or distract them any way you could. Definitely could work on making that more obvious. The soft lock is a known bug. We made a comment about it in the main itch page. You need to go to main menu and go through level select to get to that last area (which would be really cool if you'd be willing to hop back in just to see that last animation 🥺). I think what we are going to do is have like 2 difficulties. One that makes the puzzles a bit easier and brighter, and one that is harder and darker. The way it is now will likely be closer to the harder difficulty. We also plan on having around 20 levels.

Yeah.. we weren't able to get the animations for the player done in time, sadly. I think we may tray to upgrade the game after the jam! Thanks for playing!

Our game is Rekindle. You're a lightbearer and your goal is to relight the blacked out sun.

We've gotten some pretty good reviews about the game so far(would love more). We have a few bugs, like the final stage not being able to be reached from the previous stage sl you have to get to it by going through the main menus level select. We are considering working on the game after the jam; fixing bugs, changing Shade behavior, adding more levels, and making the game have 2 difficulties where the easier is a bit brighter as well as overall easier.

Let me know if we should do any of that and if we should update it on here, or if we should aim for a steam launch. Thanks!

Thanks so much! I think we're going to try to expand upon this game; turn it into a better, more enjoyable, playable game!

After the jam, we're gonna work on it some more. Fix the levels, enemies behavior, and overall playability of the game.

After the jam, we're going to update it to make it a bit easier. Going to keep the full-screen camera so you can plan out your solution for the puzzles. Planning on adding more levels after the jam as well.

This is really neat! I did have some weird collision issues every now and then, but pretty cool game.

You're a real one 🥲

You drop the lit light box to distract the Shade and run past. Our checkpoints broke, big sad.

Yeah, first ever release. Working on another project but it won't be released for a good while. Wish we had fixed more bugs before we submitted, but oh well. If you haven't already, would love a review.

(1 edit)

Thanks! Yeah, first game ever. Really happy with how it turned out, though I wish we fixed some of these bugs before release. If you haven't already, would love a review!

Got it. So, make it less annoying with the enemies, not sure what you mean with the controls being sluggish, and I suppose make the rain more visible. If you haven't already, I'd love a review!

Hey, thanks for playing! Which stage were you in? And yeah, we had some checkpoint issues we weren't able to fix in time.

Great game! jump scared me pretty good. Never thought a game about slicing carrots could be spun into a horror game, super creative. Good work!

I like this game a good bit, I think if you want to put some more time in it I'd add some better indicators for the amount of throws you're at and in general how the game works. Great Job!

This was actually a really cool game! If only it had some and a little more polish.
