Very nice game, tight gameplay loop for sure. Feels a little slow to get started, but it's nice to be able to keep some progress as you restart each time.

I actually heard that often that the beginning takes a while, I think lowering the max_hp for the first stages would solve the issue.
I didn't really think a lot about the beginning since a few levels makes a huge difference
