I like the idea, but for the implementation.. Its also very good.. But there is one problem that I couldnt look past

The game felt slow.. The slow walk speed, the small no. of ppl to infect paired with a big map made it the way it is i think. Atleast in the starting level. The airport lvl didnt feel as slow cuz it had alot of ppl and enemies

Speaking of enemies, they feel weak. I mean if we die, we just go to a closeby zombie anyways so theres already no real risk, but on top of that, the enemies arent even that hard to beat. Especially if u bring like 2-3 zombies more with you

The mechanics were also a bit confusing (at the start) I wasnt a fan of the tutorial. As it just dumped soo much soo quickly on the player. I felt like I didnt grasp the game at some points (Like the 3 cards that appear, I dont know what anything on those cards meant). Btw, I kept doing this thing where I was spamming left click to attack and the cards would appear and Id just click on a card while spamming and not even know what i got xD

I also think the pixelation on the the game was turned up just a bit too much but I still LOVE it, The low poly vibrant city view looks really great! And Especially that shader work for the edge walls and the x-ray through walls.. Real good work there

We wanted a higher number of people per level but godots skeleton animation seems to be horribly optimized which led to extremely bad performance with more people. We didnt want the game to be too hard for people playing it so thats why its pretty easy (we were gonna add a harder difficulty but ran out of time :( ). Regarding the tutorial, yeah its not perfect, but as I said we ran out of time unfortunately. Sorry you had a hard time with the upgrade system, we had the same problem with spamclicking by mistake when leveling up when playtesting 😅. Thanks for playing!
