The translation in the settings only takes effect on the plot and part of the main menu, and a considerable part of the stores and interactions in the game are still in English. It's neither of those, the truth is, translation is unfinished because people behind it didn't finish translating everything yet.
Dev takes no part in translation process except sharing the script and text from the game, everything is done by people who volunteered to translate the game for others.
If you're not happy with the ttranslation status, feel free to join our Discord and help people responsible for Chinese translation to speed up the process.
