I have to re-iterate that I never wanted to or intended to quit. I've been making games in some form or another since 2009*. I just didn't see a way forward back in February.
Long story short, I experienced some overwhelming health and personal problems that have largely resolved themselves. So it's a bit slow going getting back into things, but it no longer feels impossible.
So I'm back.
*With my first published game being Asher in 2014.
Drown the Bride is no longer free, and its status has changed to 'in development'. That's because I'm working on a custom soundtrack + adding some bonus material and preparing for a Steam release. It will be around $2.99.
I wrote a new flash fiction game, also set in the World of Aeser. It takes place in far flung Sophir, a small remote city-state that you may have spotted on the world map in Tell a Demon.
Ember escaped the Wolf of Sophir a long time ago - or so she believed...
This one is illustrated with a linocut/pen & ink style I've been experimenting with. Staying away from computer screens has been helpful lately.
So that's all for now.

Yey!!! Welcome back! It was heartbreaking to know we would have said goodbye to the esoteric world of Aeser when 2025 started. Glad we still get to enjoy more of your artistry 馃挄馃挄馃挄
