How do I increase the exposure and get featured on itch.io?

Here is my game page: https://thats-great-studio.itch.io/fantamal

I thnk I have done a fine work on itch.io's page-personally I think its even better than my steam page and game jolt page.

But after 24 hours from releasing the page, it only got less than 30 views, and thats very strange.

I tried to contacted the itch's support mail and no one response me, and no way on the site's system to show it to players.

I got like 1000 views on steam and less than 30 on itch, thats very strange.

Can I get a featured placement and more impressons for the players?

Thanks!

That's not strange, it can happen on a site with over 230K games. How long ago did you contact support? There's a turnaround time. And metadata on your game page says it was published 22 hours ago as of this writing.

As for getting featured, our admins hand-pick games manually. Try making a good release announcement right here, or else tagging @itchio on Twitter. Good luck!

I sent an email around 2-3 months ago and sent another one before publishing the page saying that the project received many positive feedback on other site like Game Jolt and is it possible to get featured when I publish my itch.io page.

I already have a completed draft at that time and told the contact email my account name(The project is under the account name)

Maybe I should send another email to the contact email with an itch.io link of my project?

About release announcement, how do my page look? Do you have any suggestions about my page? And is it good to troll on my game description? The game description is currently in trolling style.

I will tag itch.io on twitter. Thank you!

Unreleased games are treated a lot differently that games that are available for purchase or download. Typically the only way pages for unreleased games will get shown on our main-site is via our devlogs page. So if you want to start getting people following and adding your game to their collections then I recommend posting updates when you have them.

We don’t feature unreleased games on the homepage.

Hope that makes sense

I see. That does make sense and reasonable.

Anyway, I will update if there are new stuffs worth telling the players and rush on my demo.

Thanks!

While we are at this, can you take a look at my page and see how you like it? I could use some advice
