Are these cores from the Anime?
I don't remember them being in the games at all.

My plan for Zygarde is that the MC will chase her when she's in 10% Dog form, 5 of the dogs will fuse into her 50% Snake form where she'll fight you, then she'll fuse again into the 100% Knight form for another fight.

After that she'll usually stay in 50% Snake form with her other Zygarde Cells all stored in her room.

It canon that There about fives core zrygrade to make the 100% form so each zrygrade cores is a different color core

as you can see there about five color on the 100% form of zygrade chest meaning for 5 cores to form a 100% zrygrade and in the game, in alola there about 5 shattered 5 core zygrade so this technically both are in anime and game

That's odd, I played the Alola games and remember collecting the cells, but I completely forgot about the cores!
I'll see if I can work them in somehow.

There were 5 Cores, but I think they were mostly treated the same as Cells so it's easy to forget.

yeah, they're only use is if you want more than one Zygarde. you make 1 50% and 4 10% if you don't get the last cell at poni gauntlet
