the floating lines for inventory is just for consistency within that box, wasn't sure what to do with the left column of lines. but stretching the lines to touch the walls of the other boxes, allows for a few more mm of space to write.
my intention for conditions like starvation and sleep deprivation (and later poisoning in M2+) are to be marked on the calendar portion of the character sheet. it's not explicitly said, i ran out of room on those pages, but the idea was to place a little mark or something on those dates you are inflicted, or to put a tally in anywhere you see fit, just for a visual reminder. they happen rarely enough, i didn't want to take away anymore space from the other components. Great question though, i'll look things over and see if i can find a way to work that in.

Thanks for the reply! I'm slow-rolling this one (taking turns here and there as time allows), and really enjoying it!
One more question: I just got my first minor injury on day 4. As I understand the rules, I DID move to a new hex, but I don't actually know what it contains. Tomorrow, I MUST move to a new hex (leaving this one blank). At some point in the future I could possibly return here, and then I could discover what terrain it contains (provided I don't get another minor injury in the process).
Did I get that right?
exactly! you always move to another tile. (but whatever, play as you wish, if you really wanted to stay on the same tile.
Also i thought about your starvation/sleep deprivation tracking comment and i've updated the character sheet. I'll post that soon. (tomorrow is my goal) added some little boxes folks can make a mark in to track how many days they've been inflicted. best with a pencil, but clever pen marks can work.
