i got some ideas:
- add some healing pads during the mission, is considerably easy to dodge the bullets but sometimes you commit an error and need to wait the mission to end for healing again
- reduce the boss 1 life, boosting the bosses health can test the consistency of the players but is boring killing an easy boss with a thousillion of life and taking years to pass it
- add some stuff to boost the ship, like if you kill an enemy, you get a gold, and you use the golds for boosting player stats like damage, life, speed, etc
- add more ship types, like a ship that shoots slowly but gives lots of damage, a ship that gives less damage but its bullet range is higher, a ship that sprays more bullets but each one gives less damage, etc. Maybe even add a place where the players can use their golds to purchase a new weapon, and allowing players to customize their ship (or just the ship types, is more simple but still would be fun)
- make the missions shorter, in size and length. It took me a long time to notice the random circles in the arena arent arena borders, that i could go pass them and i wouldnt die, etc. Also, mission 1 is very long, even though is very easy. Is better having quick missions that are a bit challenging than long easy missions
- add more enemy types, just the default one shooting basic bullets gets boring over time. Maybe you could add enemies that ram on the player, enemies that spawn enemies, etc.
- make bosses a bit more interessing, these bosses are all big machines that you kill a part once a time, they shoot some bullet clouds, ram on the player and done. Nothing special... maybe make them look something, have more bullet types, spawn something, etc
