An interesting game! I wasn't sure what the boxes did, if it was just an aesthetic change or some kind of power-up.
The music loop was pretty grating after a while.
But I made it to the end!
The crates are power ups (2 bad, 2 good), if you don’t mind can you test it again and confirm if anything changes? it should be quite noticeable what the power ups do
