Very nice concept. It reminds me of Conway's game of life and it seems to be influenced by it.

It wasn't at first obvious what I'm supposed to be doing, but I soon found out.

If I understood correctly, the virus is the ending factor.

When I'd get a virus, I'd isolate it in water fast to stop the spread (I assumed it spreads to adjacent tiles). Not sure if there's a way to destroy it tho.

Fun game. I really like those automaton simulators.

Developer

Yeah, the virus is the ending factor. It also cannot be destroyed for that reason - I originally made it destroyable with a click, but decided against it as the players could easily play forever that way. Will adjust the mechanic further if I continue developing this game.

Very cool, like the other comment said, I wish there was a way to prevent or stop the virus spread.

Developer

Virus won't spread near unused rock tiles as quickly (if at all). Plus, it only pops up near other virus blocks or plants.

Will change how it works if I continue with this game, though.

Smart game of life adaptation here. Feels good to put water and see plants growing. Perhaps a mean to prevent virus to spread could be a nice addition (like purposely burn the plants i don't know). I feel there is a huge potential in the concept.
