I understand. That is the point. But it also tries to make the player empathize with the MC. Mr. Kovac does horrible things, but he's not entirely a horrible person. Is he?
brutally kill other kids in order to gain a bit of money to maaaybe safe yours from a disease? No, I find this solution absolutely horrible and cannot empathize such character. Plus, the story says he used to do it before…. Also to “save” someone?)
