GAMEPLAY: You've clearly got talent as a game designer; if I were reading the flowchart for this on paper, I'd be very interested. What you need now is polish, which takes time to develop. Great for a first game, but keep at it. The physics are oddly slippery, and some interactions feel off (why does the smoke not hit the ground? I assume the sprite itself has a transparent buffer, but it makes the fan segment look wrong). The rhythm of analyzing the room and finding tools to escape with gets my adventure-game-loving heart a'pumping.
VISUALS: The assets themselves are largely good-quality pixel art, but some of the animations seem mistimed or misaligned (e.g. the character bounce turning into a jitter or the ass-sliding ant). The lighting details are a charming bonus.
AUDIO: The menu promised me music, but I was given none :(. The ambient noise is nice, but I feel like a game like this could've done better with a tune.
THEME: As a game centered around resourcefulness, you've certainly met the mark, and I think taking this concept to 'everything' would've been outside the scope of a jam anyhow. Good work!
