hello!! I really liked this game!! I found some bugs for the Mac version. the game's title is WARM LIKE FRESH (DEBUG) idk if that breaks anything but just wanted to let you know. second of all, NO CONNECTIONS ROUTE and EXISTENTIAL ENDING ROUTE all lead to same ending? Like I didn't connect any of the wires but in the end it said I did my job perfectly and stuff? what's that about? It says it has 5 endings, but perhaps did you wanted to mean that it has 5 routes but 3 endings or something like that? I'm kinda confused :(

okay but seriously, this game was a really enjoyable short experience. I loved this silly sad robot and the tired mc. Considering this İS one of your first fleshed out stories, its awesome!!

If I could change anything about it, it would have been the length. Even though I tried to pursue the robot in my first playthrough I didn't really feel a...click? It was hard to get attached to him when the conversations we had was so short. It didn't feel like the main character and them had any kind of meaningful connection with them. There were no real chemistry between the two for me so it left me scratching my head why the technician even cared. He just sounded pretty insincere with his flirts, and perhaps that was on purpose. I started caring about him more in the other routes. and perhaps that was on purpose too idk!! I just there were more dialogue, it was underwhelming for me :( I'm only saying this stuff because I love this project and wish it was even better!! I'm sorry if this was a lot, I wish you good luck in your future projects :D

Hello!

First off, thank you so much for playing and for your feedback!

The (DEBUG) in the title shouldn't affect/break anything. NO CONNECTIONS ROUTE and EXISTENTIAL ROUTE have 2 different ending dialogues, by any chance did you do no connections on your second playthrough after pressing the 'play again' button or opened the game and then did no connections? I've tried the no connection route on after opening the game (Version 1.02) and it does give me the proper ending, but I will triple check through the code ^^.

And I definitely agree about the length. to be blunt i was kind of burnt out by the time I got to writing and that affected the depth of the dialogues. especially the flirtatious route since those were one of the last dialogues I've written. while i try to leave room for interpretation, I dont think it landed as strongly as i hoped xd. I might look into hiring a writer for future updates to WLF and projects to give narratives more depth!

I hope to do additional comics/writing about the two though! Perhaps that will fill the Cathode shaped hole in my heart and others who've played lol.

Anyways, if you’d like a quick reference to all 5 endings and dialogues, I’ve put together a YouTube video:

Thank you once again for your kind words and sharing your thoughts! It means a lot to me and I'll take your feedback into consideration as I continue to improve and make more projects. I really hope you’ll enjoy whatever I come up with next! <3

hello again!! yes, I kinda did that! I did the existential ending then pressed play again. then tried to do the no connections route, but the ending text was for existential ending rather than no connections. I watched the ending from the video link you sent me now so I can sleep easy knowing that machine will suffer no matter what. Ur so welcome btw I'm looking forward to any kind of media you will release!!!
