I loved this, it’s such a cool take on theme, definitely would give 6 stars for theme if I could. I also love gamepad support (though had to use a mouse to back out of the settings menu).
That face is so good, really sold the nightmare. The end boss was neat but also a little weird, I often was just standing on it taking a ride, but jumping on it worked well enough. The one thing I’d change is a non-parallax background. There were times my brain had trouble making sense of the world since so much is obscured; a background would give a fixed reference point. I also loved all the one-way platforms, I don’t know exactly why but it just felt fun.
